Ps.39 Hands that flung stars

I cover my mouth with an outstretched hand
and fail to end my breath,

As I measure my life with an outstretched hand
and see so little left.

Oh, I know the humbling of your outstretched hands;
the beauty and the scars

How I ‘ve tried to flee from your outstretched hands
but I’m caught and I’m know and I’m yours.
