I AM LOVED

Standing here

In this moment

In my frailty, my insignificance, my failure, my faithlessness, my emptiness His warmth begins consuming

I begin realising

begin seeing

knowing

feeling

accepting

almost tasting that

I am loved.

His warmth holds me.

overtakes me.

Oh how I am loved

And this love, His love. Such love.

This indescribable, never-ending, always faithful love – warms me.

This power filled, joy giving, uncomplicated love – overwhelms me.

This Beautiful, peaceful, gentle love just – throws me to the floor and screams:

“I love you”

His limitless love.

His unlimitable love.

No where unreachable

No one untouchable

No thing untransformable

No moment uninvadeable

No broken life unrestorable

No relationship unreconcilable

No, nothing beyond, above, beneath His love.

Amazed I can barely stand as his love burns within my chest.

struggling to comprehend

struggling to accept

Just struggling for breath

revelation unfolds

revolution unfurls

Me falling, kneeling, bowing, crying, running, hiding, screaming back “you can’t”

his love warms deeper still

envelops

enfolds

encases

encloses

Enrages me – its  sheer unearnt excess

He loves me

I can’t run from the persisting enormity of the track you down to smoother you ness of his love I can’t escape from the perfect fullness of the never going to let you go ness of his love I can never flee from the pervading permanence of the abundant generous excessive ness of his love.

I’m surrounded on every side

… I surrender

Now, Standing here in this moment

I know

I feel

I’m warmed

I enjoy

I’m loved.

You love me.

I AM LOVED
