You think you know me, assume my ache and you pity me, unable. But I haven’t come For what you think. Don’t judge my deepest need.

Our hope lifted me, Shared faith brought me To him: surrendered; He’s able. I’ve come for freedom, sweet salvation, For him to meet my need.

And he knows me well Love speaks to me, Forgiveness for my soul. And he heals me too, To prove the point. But that’s not why I came.
